I made this triangle based on a pattern in Beyond the Square Crochet Motifs: 144 circles, hexagons, triangles, squares and other unexpected shapes by Edie Eckman.
I remember reading this article years ago and thinking really hard about the burner analogy – “‘One burner represents your family, one is your friends, the third is your health, and the fourth is your work.’ The gist, she said, was that in order to be successful you have to cut off one of the burners. And in order to be really successful you have to cut off two.”
I’ve come to realize I’m determined to keep all my burners lit.
Some consider the golden triangle to be nutrition, exercise and sleep. I believe this is where I’ll start.
